The brain of the system

A loudspeaker processor routes inputs to outputs and applies crossover, EQ, delay and limiting per output. Your mix goes in; correctly filtered, time-aligned, protected amplifier feeds come out.

Presets, not guesswork

P-series processors carry the factory preset for every Quint cabinet: the same target curve and protection that live in the A-series amplifiers. Load the preset, aim the boxes, and the system measures like the datasheet.

Zones, delays and control

P5 offers 4 analog I/O, P9 up to 8, and D-series units add remote I/O and a touchscreen. Delay lines, zones and scenes are configured once and recalled by anyone.

Common questions

What does a DSP audio processor do?

It takes your mix and turns it into correctly filtered, time-aligned, limited signals for each amplifier channel: crossover, EQ, delay and protection in one box.

Do I need a processor if the amplifier has DSP?

For a single rig the amplifier presets are enough. A processor earns its place at system level: zones, delay towers, multiple sources and one point of control.

Are the presets really per cabinet?

Yes. Every Quint loudspeaker has a factory preset with its crossover, EQ and limiting. That is what keeps the whole catalog on one linear target curve.

Can the processor protect my loudspeakers?

Yes. The limiting in the preset is tuned to the driver limits of each cabinet: thermal and excursion, not a generic brickwall.
