Sound engineered for performance
Since 2012, Quint Audio has developed professional loudspeakers, amplifiers and DSP processing in-house, in Wintelre, the Netherlands. Not as separate products, but as one ecosystem, engineered from wall socket to audience, so every system does exactly what you expect. Every time.
Control and predictability win from loose numbers
Great sound isn't a collection of good components. It's what happens when acoustics, amplification and processing are engineered together. That's why we develop everything ourselves: loudspeakers, amplifiers and processors under one roof, so the entire signal chain meets one standard and behaves as one system.
The difference matters in the field: a system that looks right on paper is not the same as a system that performs the same way night after night, in different rooms and conditions. Our vision is simple: build the predictable system first, then give you the freedom to shape its sound.
One curve. Every format.
Every Quint loudspeaker is voiced to the same linear target curve, and our processing standardises the sensitivity of every model. Tops, subs, infills and monitors combine into one coherent system: no different "sounds" within the same setup, no mismatched volumes from the same input signal.
For engineers that means less correction work on location: tuning becomes a choice, not a repair. For the audience it means a system that keeps its character throughout the room, not one sweet spot.
And when you do want character: the signature Quint Sound is one button away.

Load a preset, and the foundation is right
A loudspeaker is only finished when acoustics, processing and protection are engineered as one. Every Quint preset is the complete control system for that loudspeaker:
- FIR filtering & time alignment: controlled crossover transitions and consistent response, without correction work afterwards.
- Phase & timing: tops and subs don't just play together, they work together. No energy lost to cancellation in the overlap region.
- Standardised gain structure: every model responds predictably to the same input signal, so systems are easy to combine and expand.
- Multi-level limiting: peak, RMS/thermal and excursion protection, tested to what each driver and cabinet can genuinely handle. Not a hard stop, but controlled intervention that keeps the system stable under load.
Connect the speaker, load the preset, and the foundation is right: safe, consistent and stage-ready.
More usable output, without the risk of breaking it
Compact loudspeakers usually force a choice: full low-end extension or maximum output. Deep bass costs energy and excursion: play a small cabinet loud and deep at the same time, and most of its capacity goes into the lows.
Our dynamic limiting resolves that. At normal levels the speaker plays full-range and sounds complete. When you ask for more output, the processor gradually reduces the deepest lows, freeing up headroom for higher SPL while the speaker stays protected. One speaker that sounds grown-up at low levels and can step up when the show demands it, without emergency EQ or nervously watching clip LEDs. The spec sheet of every model tells you whether dynamic limiting is applied.
Measured to AES75, not marketing SPL's and wattages
Wattages look impressive, but they don't predict what you actually want to know: how loud a system really plays before it gives in. Power ratings depend heavily on measurement method, duty cycle and cooling. And even with sensitivity you can't calculate real-world output, because power compression and limiting are left out of the equation.
That's why Quint specifies maximum output to AES75, the AES standard for measuring maximum linear sound levels. AES75 uses Music-Noise, a test signal designed to behave like real music, and raises the level step by step while measuring live when the loudspeaker stops behaving linearly. The result: a repeatable, comparable number that matches what you can expect on location: maximum linear output, exactly what you need for system design.
“Quint doesn't just hit hard at the start of my events, It's still going strong the next morning.”Frank Soors (Soors Music)
Built for everyone who cares about sound
Whether you're a DJ, a band, a club owner or a seasoned sound engineer, a Quint system meets you at your level. Less experienced users reach our signature Quint Sound at the push of a button. Experienced engineers get full access to EQs, compressors and every parameter they could wish for.
That's the idea behind everything we do: a system that is equal, protected and predictable out of the box, and easy to tune to your own taste, or to expand with infills and monitors, whenever you need to.
