Restaurant sound systems

Music that carries the room without killing conversation. Even, discreet coverage, zoned and scheduled from lunch service to Friday night.

Even, so it can be quiet

The trick to restaurant sound is evenness. Many small, well-placed sources at moderate level beat a few loud ones: music everywhere, conversation possible everywhere.

From lunch to late

Level and mood shift through the day. Scenes in the P-series processor move the room from background lunch to a louder Friday night bar, per zone, at one button press.

Heard, not seen

Compact cabinets disappear against ceilings and joinery, and subwoofers tuck out of sight. Guests notice the atmosphere, not the equipment.

Sound that serves the room, not the other way around.
FAQ

Common questions

How many speakers does a restaurant need?

More than you think, at lower level than you fear. The count follows ceiling height and layout; the rule is even coverage first, then set the level to the room.

How loud is background music?

Dining typically sits around 65–75 dB, a bar section higher. Even coverage is what lets you stay at the low end of that range and still be heard everywhere.

Can staff control the system?

Yes: scenes and zone levels on a wall panel or D5 touchscreen. No access to EQ or processing, so the system cannot be mis-set during service.

Does it work with our playlist system?

Yes. Any line-level streaming or playlist source feeds straight into the processor.
